With varied hangar configurations, straightforward access, and flexible lease terms, Romsey Airfield remains a trusted base for pilots who value simplicity, safety, and community.

Specifications & Features

  • Each hangar varies in size and configuration, allowing us to accommodate a wide range of light and general aviation aircraft. If you have specific requirements, simply get in touch with your aircraft’s dimensions and we’ll match you with the most suitable space.

  • Easy taxi-in, taxi-out access with a direct connection to our grass runways - 03–21 (975 m) and 15–33 (730 m) - both unpaved, all-weather strips marked with white threshold indicators.

  • Tenants are welcome to drive straight to their hangar and park out the front for short periods. If heading off on a flight, vehicles can be safely left inside the hangar. Visitors are kindly asked to use the designated car park.

  • Access to the airfield is via a locked gate, with individual hangars secured by their own locking systems.

  • Communal bathroom facilities are available onsite adjacent to the car parking.

  • Hangars are available on a quarterly lease basis, with alternative terms offered by negotiation.
